Abstract
Gene-environment interactions are considered in Chap. 10, which focuses on a 2×2×2 table. The expressions of odds ratios for the genetic effect, the environmental factor effect, and the gene-environment interaction are given. More general cases for gene and environmental factors are briefly discussed. Three common tests for gene-environment interaction are studied, including the Score test, the likelihood ratio test (LRT) and the Wald test. Examples are given with detailed calculations.
