Abstract

We have come to the end of this book. We hope you enjoyed reading it as much as we liked writing it (well, there were times …, we hope that you did not have similar times). In this final chapter we briefly summarize each chapter, draw our final conclusions, and have a brief look at the parallelization opportunities in the upcoming video standard HEVC.
