Abstract

Extrahepatic bile duct was a single chapter in the sixth edition, this has been divided into two chapters for the seventh edition [Perihilar Bile Ducts (see Chap. 21) and Distal Bile Duct] Two site-specific prognostic factors, preoperative or pretreatment serum carcinoembryonic antigen and CA19-9, are recommended for collection

(Sarcoma and carcinoid tumors are not included)
