Abstract

In any multicellular organism, the body’s cell communicate. Cell signaling enables the coordination of cell activities, from basic life to tissue development and remodeling. These basic cellular activities include uptake of nutrients, excretion of wastes and toxins, and interactions with neighboring or remote cells of the organism, in addition to processing of possible occurrence of developmental abnormalities (cancers) and invasion of pathogens.
