Abstract

The importance of applying the ‘Automation System and Robotics in construction’ has been raised, as a result of the need for improvement in safety, productivity, quality, and the work environment. Consequently, operations involving automation systems and robots are widely found at construction sites. Since the late 1980s, construction robots have helped operators perform hazardous, tedious, and health-endangering tasks in heavy material handling.
