Abstract
The Educational Media and Technology Yearbook has continued to profile ground-breaking individuals that have made their mark in Academia. In this edition, EMTY will profile more leaders in the field of Instructional Technology; one of those leaders we will pay tribute to is an individual who made contributions to our field but from the business and industry realm. Ron Zemke was an Instructional Technologist who worked as a consultant, trainer, and an editor for Training: a professional development magazine that advocates training and workforce development as a business tool. The following tribute is dedicated to Mr. Ron Zemke who passed away on August 17th, 2004. His profile is an excerpt of a tribute written by Mr. Chris Lee, the former managing editor of Training Magazine and a colleague of Mr. Zemke.
