Abstract
Nocturia is an entity whose clinical, pathological, and therapeutic features are currently being shaped. Further research is necessary to help separate nocturia from its historical “bundling” with other LUTS. For example, suggestions in popular media that overactive bladder and prostate therapies are capable of achieving clinically meaningful improvements in nocturia remain to be verified.
