Majorization and Matrix Inequalities

Abstract

Majorization is an important tool in deriving matrix inequalities of eigenvalues, singular values, and matrix norms. In this chapter we introduce the concept of majorization, present its basic properties, and show a variety of matrix inequalities in majorization.
