Abstract

Asymmetric septal hypertrophy has unexplained LV hypertrophy, may have LV obstruction (LVOT or mid-cavitary), and abnormal diastolic function. Autosomal dominant with variable penetrance, related to abnormalities of the beta myosin heavy chain. Incidence of 1 in 500.
