Abstract
The left upper pulmonary vein (LUPV) is easily imaged in the ME view above the left atrial appendage (LAA) in (A) xPlane ME MV 55±. The left lower pulmonary vein (LLPV) is imaged by scanning at 90± and moving the cursor until both veins are imaged simultaneously. The coumadin ridge separates the LAA and LUPV in (B) Live 3D ME 85± viewed from above showing the orifices of the LAA and LUPV and (C) 2D ME view of LAA and LUPV. 3D Zoom of the (D) RUPV in the modified bicaval and (E) orifice of the LUPV in a rotated ME LAA view are shown.
