Abstract
In this study fibers of dense, apparently homogeneous YBa2Cu3O7-δ were used to study the spatial distribution of the critical current density in weak linked ceramic superconductors. It was discovered that for these samples not only does the critical current vary along the length of the fiber, but so does the transition temperature and the normal state resistivity.
