Abstract

Ocular-motor (ENG) tracking patterns were obtained during Modes I, II, and III blurring-speed testing in order to determine the neurophysiologic and “objective” indicators of the blurring/recognition-speed endpoint (Fig. 9–1). It was anticipated that this study might more accurately delineate the diagnostic parameters required to separate DD and non-DD individuals, and thus hopefully provide a solution to the exceptions and the paradox introduced by the blind blurring-speed study.
