Abstract
In this chapter we turn to an investigation of the fascinating property of asymptotic periodicity in the evolution of densities. This behavior is the statistical analog for densities of the more common periodicity found in some time series. The existence of asymptotic periodicity will allow us to prove a weak form of the Second Law in which the conditional entropy increases to (at least) a local maximum.
