Abstract
In this chapter we shall examine some applications of the techniques developed earlier and discuss some of the problems arising in such applications. We shall be led to consider inter alia certain elementary aspects of specification error theory, the relevance of canonical correlations in appraising the “goodness of fit” of simultaneous equations systems, and the application of principal component theory in the estimation of economy-wide (large) econometric models.
