H II Regions in the Magellanic Clouds

The H II regions are, in the LMC and SMC, a dominant phenomenon rich in various structures. The relative proximity of the Clouds offers an exceptional opportunity for detailed morphological and spectrographic observations. New results on kinematics and physics of the ionized interstellar medium are described. New directions for future observations are suggested.
