Abstract

“Could I just ask you a quick question on the phone, doctor? I just got a note from Lizzie’s day care center asking our permission for her to be a research subject. A team of psychologists wants to come in and interview all the 3-year-olds and observe them at play and make videotapes. They’re interested in finding out about aggressive behavior in normal kids. It sounds OK, but do you think I should sign it? Can it do Lizzie any harm?”
