Jeremy fidgeted as he sat with his mother in the waiting room. He was a little bit scared, because the bone in his arm, the one near his shoulder, was poking through his shirt. It jutted out strangely even under the sweatshirt his mother had hastily instructed him to put on before they had rushed to the doctor.
