Abstract
ESSENTIAL-ATTENDING (E-ATTENDING) is a “system-building system” designed to assist in the implementation of an expert critiquing system. E-ATTENDING has been refined in the process of implementing several developmental critiquing systems, including VQ-ATTENDING and HT-ATTENDING. It is currently being applied in areas of medical management, patient workup, and differential diagnosis.
