Numerical Methods

MacMath 9.2

Abstract

This program calculates the numerical solution of the differential equation of the form

$$ \frac{{dx}} {{dt}} = f(t,x) $$

using any of the three numerical methods: Euler, Midpoint Euler, or Runge- Kutta. In order to analyze the error in a given method, the program also calculates the error and “order”, and can graph the error as a function of the step size.
