Abstract
Serological methods are important for rhizobial strain identification. This chapter covers the development of antisera against several strains of rhizobia. Antigens are prepared and then injected into rabbits by three different routes. Antisera are developed for serological techniques that require soluble and insoluble somatic antigens. Injection and bleeding techniques are practiced.
