Abstract
The object of this chapter is to examine the matrix B (of equation (4.5.1)) for λ close to zero. We know that this matrix has analytic continuation in all cases and so the relation of the local behavior of B near 1 with its local behavior near λ = 0 makes sense without any restriction on a, b, c other than (1.1). We will assume conditions (9.0.1)−(9.0.3).
