Abstract
Throughout this book, ℂ will denote the complex field, and ℂn will be the cartesian product of n copies of ℂ; here n is any positive integer. The points of ℂn are thus ordered n-tuples z = (z1, …,z n ), where each zi ∈ ℂ. Algebraically, ℂn is an n-dimensional vector space over ℂ. Topologically, ℂn is the euclidean space R2n of real dimension 2n.
