n-Dimensional Cumulative Distribution Functions and Bounded Variation Functions

Abstract

The natural generalization of 1-dimensional c.d.f.’s and b.v.f.’s (see Section 8) are n-dimensional (n > 1) c.d.f.’s and b.v.f.’s. We shall develop some of their properties in this Section, and then apply these results in the following Section dealing with the n-dimensional Riemann-Stieltjes Integral. We shall follow the general pattern set in Section 8.
