Habitual Physical Activity: Aerobic Power and Blood Lipids

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology ((AEMB,volume 11))

Abstract

Among the different risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD), high blood lipids and low physical activity have aroused a considerable interest and in several studies, low levels of blood lipids and high physical activity have been demonstrated to be associated with lower risk for CHD (for review see 7).
