Abstract
Mictomagnetic alloys (1) are characterized by freezing of the spin orientations at low temperatures but, unlike in ferromagnets or in antiferromagnets, without long-range spin order. The presence of short-range spin order (magnetic clusters) is indicated by the superparamagnetic behavior, at least in a certain temperature range.
