Impulse Activity from Human Muscle Spindles During Voluntary Contractions

  • Chapter
Motor Control

Abstract

The present report gives a summary of the main findings obtained in analysis of the impulse discharge in single muscle spindle afferents in conscious human subjects. The results have been published in earlier papers which may be consulted for further information (Vallbo, 1970 a,b, 1971, 1972 a,b).
