Summary
Mimosine, β-N-(3-hydroxy-4-pyridone) α-aminopropionic acid, and its hydrochloride produced significant inhibition of subcutaneously transplanted murine B16 melanoma in BDF1 female mice. In such mice during mimosine treatment differences developed in the reactivity of both surface membrane and cytoplasmic antigens as compared to untreated cells.
