Beam-Foil Study of S III — S VI

  • Chapter
Beam-Foil Spectroscopy

Abstract

Using 100–700 keV sulfur ions we have studied the beam-foil spectrum of sulfur (1100–5000 Å). More than 300 lines appeared in the spectra. A number of classifications for S III — S VIII are suggested. Lifetimes have also been measured for some selected S III — S VI levels.
