Effects of Cyclic AMP on B-Cell Function

  • Chapter
Eukaryotic Cell Function and Growth

Abstract

The role of adenosine-3′,5′-cyclic monophosphate (cAMP) in the function of the pancreatic B-cell was recently and extensively reviewed (1). In order to avoid duplication, we will restrict the present contribution to a synoptic view of such a topic.
