Abstract
In connection with discussing the problem of the separation of resonant Raman scattering and hot luminescence, the following should be emphasized: We do not consider that resonant secondary emission can always be divided into luminescence, hot luminescence and scattering. On the contrary, as it follows from our theory, such a separation is impossible in the general case. There exist cases, however (mentioned in the report), where it can be done in good approximation. We have studied theoretically a number of such models. As it was noted in the report, the conclusions of the theory are in agreement with the experiments on hot luminescence made at Tartu.
