Abstract
This paper deals with electron transfer reactions involving excited states of probe molecules which are solubilized in aqueous micellar solutions. Three different processes are discussed:
-
(i)
Photoejection of electrons from P* inside the micelle into the aqueous phase
-
(ii)
Transfer of electrons from triplet states PT to acceptors located outside the micelle
-
(iii)
Transfer of electrons from donors outside the micelle to PT.
