Part of the book series: Comprehensive Immunology ((COMIMUN,volume 4))

Abstract

The lymphoreticular disorders of the gastrointestinal tract are of particular concern in the small bowel, and we will therefore begin this chapter with a discussion of the technique of radiological examination of the small bowel and some comments on the appearance of the normal small intestine. This will lead us to a description of the appearance of the small bowel in immunoglobulin-deficiency syndromes and in small-intestinal lymphocytic lymphoma. We conclude with considerations of lymphocytic lymphoma.
