Abstract
Multiple endocrine neoplasia, type 2b (MEN 2b) is a disorder characterized by medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), pheochromocytoma, ganglioneuromatosis, dysmorphy with connective tissue and skeletal abnormalities. Since 1967 five European patients with MEN 2b have been treated at Institut Gustave-Roussy and their principal characteristics are summarized in Table 1.
