Abstract

The adrenal gland is an uncommon site for tumors in the pediatric age group. The majority of these tumors are neuroblastomas. Carcinomas and adenomas represent less than 4% of all adrenal tumors [1]. Between 1943 and 1981, a total of 12 cases of carcinoma and 5 cases of adenoma were seen at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. All these children had functioning adrenocortical tumors.
