Abstract
The ostomy patient has undergone a prescribed treatment which impacts on every significant aspect of living [1], The goal of rehabilitation with these patients is to restore them to optimal levels of functioning within their appropriate environment (home, work and social arena) given the limits imposed by their medical status [2].
