Experimental Gravity, Gravitational Waves, and Quantum Nondemolition: An Introduction

  • Chapter
Quantum Optics, Experimental Gravity, and Measurement Theory

Part of the book series: NATO Advanced Science Institutes Series ((NSSB,volume 94))

Abstract

This summer school is a meeting ground for three communities of scientists: specialists in gravitation physics, specialists in quantum optics, and specialists in the quantum theory of measurement. The prospects are bright for future interaction, mutual stimulation, cross fertilization, and even some merging of our three fields.

Supported in part by the National Science Foundation [AST79-22012-A01] and [PHY77-27084].
