Hadron Production at PETRA

Abstract

In this talk I will review data on hadron production in e+e collisions at PETRA using the large detectors CELLO, JADE, MARK-J, PLUTO and TASSO. Since the end of 1978 PETRA has been running at c.m. energies between \(\sqrt {\text{s}} = 12\) GeV and \(\sqrt {\text{s}} = 36.72\) GeV with the bulk of data at energies above \(\sqrt {\text{s}} = 30\) GeV. Until the middle of 1981 up to 14,500 multihadron events per experiment were detected with a corresponding luminosity of approximately 26,000 nb−1.
