Abstract

The aim of this set of lectures is to provide an impressionistic view of the current research activity in the field of perturbative QCD 1) by discussing a selection of topics which in a way or another are of particular interest at present. In spite of the increased technicism of the language spoken by experts, it will be possible, I hope, to convey the meaning and physical significance of what is being done in relatively simple terms, full accessible to all of you who certainly are already familiar with the more elementary aspects of the subjet.
