Abstract

In this talk I will report on work done in collaboration with L.F. Abbott. The basic idea1) is to describe the weak interactions as arising from the structure of composite left-handed quarks and leptons. The right-handed quarks and leptons are point like at the scale of the weak interactions G −½F ≃ 250 GeV. Our model can produce the same effective four Fermi interaction Lagrangian as the standard model. However for Q2 bigger than zero the predictions of our model differ from those of the standard model.
