Abstract

In the last couple of years it has been shown that a long standing problem of hadron physics, that goes under the name of the UA(1) problem, can be explicitly solved in large N QCD1). The result of this analysis is summarized by the following effective Lagrangian2) for the nonet of the pseudoscalar mesons:
