Abstract

The Structured Accession Planning System for Officers (STRAP-O) is a set of models for determining the feasibility of proposed manpower plans or programs and indicating directions likely to achieve those plans. STRAP-0 integrates accession and promotion planning functions with manpower requirements both technically and organizationally. This paper describes the system’s components, its architecture, the flow of information, and outputs.
