Abstract
A vector is an ordered n-tuple of elements expressed as a column (n x 1) or row (1 x n) matrix
respectively. The n elements of a vector are called its components and a prime indicates transposition. In all of what follows our discussion will take place in an n-dimensional real vector space (denoted Rn).
