Abstract
Three examples of work carried out using high speed cine techniques are illustrated with the aid of film.
The first film sequence shows the behaviour of molten steel during the initial stages of teeming from the ladle into ingot moulds.
The second sequence shows the reaction of electric arc behaviour under working conditions.
The third sequence shows the behaviour of molten steel when processed inside a vacuum chamber.
