Abstract
The paper presents the results of the investigation of a ‘switch—on’ shock profile and the measurement of the wave velocity in the collisionless regime enploying the high—speed photography. Data, for the electron temperature (Te) ahead of and behind the wave front are presented here, and also the Table with the estimated and measured characteristic physical quantities.
