Abstract
Among the many conditions related to the adverse effects of food that may fall into the category of food accidents, this chapter will discuss only those physical conditions that result from mechanical obstruction. Accidental poisonings, environmental contamination, and both excesses and deficiencies occurring accidentally will not be addressed.
