Abstract
Another title for this chapter could read, “We Got a Grant–What Do We Do Now?” Virtually all large grant getters, including universities, hospitals, research institutes, and others know the answer. Smaller agencies, community groups, and colleges getting an award from a new (for them) federal source may not. It can be an awesome matter to be the recipient of tens of thousands of dollars, which have, it seems, an equal number of strings attached, and not to know how to spend the money properly.
