Abstract
The success of a neuroanatomical research project depends to a large extent on the techniques that are used and how effectively they are applied. The purpose of this book is to introduce the student to the major tract-tracing methods and to emphasize the importance of selecting the procedure that is most appropriate for solving a particular neuroanatomical question.
