Abstract

It is very good to follow Gabriel Karl’s excellent talk on new developments in the quark model of hadron spectroscopy, because a good deal of what I say is based upon the motivation of using the potential model that is so successful in baryon spectroscopy as well as in charmonium, upsilonium, and even light meson spectroscopy. On the other hand, in a way it is difficult to follow Gabriel Karl, because it is hard to match the charm and wit with which he delivered his talk.
