Homogeneous Asymmetric Catalysis by Transition Metal Complexes

  • Chapter
Fundamental Research in Homogeneous Catalysis

Abstract

Asymmetric catalysis includes all the aspects of catalytic asymmetric synthesis in which chiral centers of opposite configuration are produced or destroyed in unequal number because of the presence of a chiral catalytic agent. As usual chiral compound means in this review a non-racemic chiral compound.
