Abstract
Although precursor loading with choline chloride or dimethylaminoethanol actually has been reported to increase brain acetylcholine (ACh) content, a concomitant increase in central cholinergic activity remains to be demonstrated (Haubrich et al., 1974; Cohen and Wurtman, 1975; 1976; Eckernas, 1977; Hanin et al., 1978).
